Active Grill Shutter (AGS) removal
The Active Grill Shutter (AGS) is a mecatronic system that performs a key function of selectively allowing or restricting airflow with an automatic opening and closing of shutters based on real-time needs.
The most common problem is actuator failure or the need to remove all the system in order to create room for an intercooler upgrade. When this happens, the vehicle will have the engine management lamp and codes related to the system management of the shutters.
When we disable this system it will no longer have any errors.
With our solution that system will not give anymore malfunction warnings for it.
The actuator plug must be disconnected and the shutters must be opened or removed.
Below is a list of the vehicles and ECU that can be done.
